How ConnectFuel works

ConnectFuel works by attaching your flowmeter to a vessel’s fuel line. The data is retrieved from flowmeters with a digital connection such as Modbus. This sensor accurately measures fuel consumption in real-time. Which, provides valuable fuel consumption data. The data can be used on board and/or pushed to the cloud for use onshore and by other stakeholders.

Accuracy

The flow meter’s accuracy varies in relation to the type already or to be installed. Our hardware is highly precise, providing reliable and trustworthy data. Additionally, our system ensures that the data is not manipulated by ScanReach, providing one truth data direct from the source.

The Energy Efficiency Design Index

(EEDI) was made mandatory for new ships and the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) for all ships at MEPC 62 (July 2011) with the adoption of amendments to MARPOL Annex VI.
