What is your favourite part of the ScanReach OWC network?

The OWC network is a self-forming and self-healing mesh network aimed at use on board maritime vessels. This communication network offers a huge opportunity to provide digital access to onboard sensors and instruments, eliminating tedious manual tasks. This new technology also provides opportunities such as ConnectPOB and ConnectFuel.

ConnectPOB provides a digital overview of the crew at all times, while ConnectFuel provides the fuel concept in real time. There is an ocean of possibilities that this new technology can integrate and solve.

Andreas is going to be a valuable asset to our company!

Over the last years, the ScanReach team has developed the breakthrough onboard wireless connectivity technology which enables data to travel anywhere on a maritime vessel without cabling. IoT sensor data in complex steel environments, such as vessels, rigs, and offshore wind turbines, is made available to management onboard and onshore.
