Why ScanReach?

“Due to my passion for the maritime & ship building industry and working for 25+ years with different companies, regions and markets, Scanreach is finally the perfect match to contribute for sustainability, safety on board and simultaneously provide an unique and innovative solution to improve effectiveness to the industry and ships, with a fantastic company team spirit and core values. “

How do you enjoy spending your free time?”

“I try to spend much time possible on outdoor activities, either practicing Windsurfing on windy days at the Baltic see that is nearby to where I live or driving my Motorbike on sunny days with my wife, participating in local classic Trial motorbike competitions and traveling to remote locations to do hiking. Finally, also utilising some enjoyable time with the family. “

What is your favourite part of the ScanReach OWC network?

OWC (Onboard Wireless Connectivity) on board ships is a IoT revolutionary (Internet of Things) mesh network technology that is transforming the maritime industry. It provides an easy and cost-effective way to connect, capture, and transmit a wide range of data in complex steel environments on a highly scalable and user-friendly platform. This technology is particularly useful during the current digitalisation phase of the industry.

Paul is going to be a valuable asset to our company!

Over the last years, the ScanReach team has developed the breakthrough onboard wireless connectivity technology which enables data to travel anywhere on a maritime vessel without cabling. IoT sensor data in complex steel environments, such as vessels, rigs, and offshore wind turbines, is made available to management onboard and onshore.
