It’s a great pleasure to announce that we have successfully installed ConnecPOB onboard Olympic Prawn, our first fishing trawler. The installation took only a few hours installed by the QHSE officer Tonny Sørdal.

The brand-new Olympic Prawn is the first vessel in the fishing industry that install ConnectPOB. ScanReach is very excited to be on this vessel and must give kudos to Olympic for also include a higher level of safety for their seafarers in every part of their modern fleet. The crew is now part of the safety at sea revolution and are looking forward to new features from ScanReach such as, man overboard and fall detection. Olympics Vice President QHSE Tonny Sørdal states that a safe vessel is an efficient and competitive vessel, and for Olympic the crew safety and welfare is of great importance to us!
