Welcome aboard! We are thrilled to announce Ørjan Berger as part of our “new pioneer team.“

Ørjan Berger excels in domain understanding, frontend development, and UX design. He is a thoughtful candidate with valuable experience from the Navy. Among 70 applicants, Ørjan was the top choice for frontend and UX roles. So far, he has shown a great understanding of designing and creating satisfying, efficient, and smart solutions for our UX.

In the past, Ørjan has spent an impressive 11 years in the Norwegian Navy on different frigates. For seven of those years, he was a Sonar Operator and technician. He has also worked as an instructor within the anti-submarine warfare division. This maritime experience, combined with his two years of front-end development education, made him the perfect candidate.

Why ScanReach?

“I selected ScanReach as my ideal workplace because I believe it offers an excellent opportunity to learn and enhance my skills as a front-end developer. My background in the marine industry allows me to recognise numerous features at ScanReach that would have seamlessly integrated with the ships I sailed on in the past. I am eager to contribute to the team and bridge the gap between my marine experience and software development to create innovative solutions for the maritime domain.”

I enjoy spending my free time with my family, hanging out with friends, and watching a good movie or football.
